I will meet you upstairs at the Hatfield swim centre
on a pre-arranged Tuesday evening at 8.15pm.
I
will talk to you about our club, the Trident Sub Aqua
Club. Who we are and how we started. The club has been
around since 1964. I will talk about the British Sub
Aqua Club
BSAC and the advantages of belonging to
both. What
benefits you will receive as a member and issue you
with a welcome package.
I
will then explain all the equipment that we will be
using during the pool session, the safety aspects of
diving and what we will do when we get into the water.
In
the pool we will put the equipment on, get you to see
what it is like to breath underwater. When you are comfortable,
we will then swim firstly, in the shallow lane of the
pool, then move to the 1.8m depth lane, then when you
are happy, we will then proceed to dive in the 3.8m
depth diving area.
After
our session in the pool, we can have a chat about the
whole experience and I will answer any questions you
may have.
