Simone is an Advanced Diver and Open Water Instructor

Simone has been with the club since 1982. She has dived numerous sites on the south coast, the south west, Wales, West Scotland, Scapa Flow, Red Sea, Tenerife, Spain, Sardinia and of course the highlights of my diving career Stoney Cove, Guildenburgh and several other inland sites. Would love to dive Truk Lagoon one day.

Michael is an Advanced Diver and Advanced Instructor

Michael has been with the club since 1988. Memorable dive trips include Truk and the Galapagos. Iorganise a Club liveaboard trip in the red Sea every year. I also work for part of the year with Island Divers in Tenerife.

I’ve been diving since 1994, when I learnt to dive with Holborn BSAC in London. I’ve been with Trident since 1997. I’ve been a dive leader since 2003. I have been an assistant instructor since 2002. I have dived the usual south coast sites, Scapa Flow, the Red sea, Tenerife, Cuba and various places in the Med. I enjoy being an instructor as I enjoy seeing my trainees turn from being quite nervous underwater to being confident, competent divers.

Barry is a Dive Leader and an Assistant Instructor

With aspirations to become an open water instructor when suitable funds become available! I started my dive training with Bricketwood SAC in 1995, moving to St Albans SAC in 1996. I have been with Trident SAC since 1997 where I eventually became a dive leader in 2003. I have been an assistant instructor since 2002. Apart from diving at sites around the UK such as Dorset, Sussex, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Man, Devon, Cornwall, St Abbs I have also been fortunate in diving off the coasts of Tenerife and Seychelles and in the Red sea. Oh yes.. I almost forgot the high spots of my diving career such as Guildenburg, Stoney Cove, Datchet and St Albans Angling club lake!
