Simone has been with the club since 1982. She has dived numerous sites on the south coast, the south west, Wales, West Scotland, Scapa Flow, Red Sea, Tenerife, Spain, Sardinia and of course the highlights of my diving career Stoney Cove, Guildenburgh and several other inland sites. Would love to dive Truk Lagoon one day.

Diving Officer - Richard Aldridge

Richard is an Dive Leader and an Assistant Open Water Instructor

I’ve been diving since 1994, when I learnt to dive with Holborn BSAC in London. I’ve been with Trident since 1997. I’ve been a dive leader since 2003. I have been an assistant instructor since 2002. I have dived the usual south coast sites, Scapa Flow, the Red sea, Tenerife, Cuba and various places in the Med. I enjoy being an instructor as I enjoy seeing my trainees turn from being quite nervous underwater to being confident, competent divers.

Training Officer - Michael Tuck

Michael is an Advanced Diver and Advanced Instructor

Michael has been with the club since 1988. Memorable dive trips include Truk and the Galapagos. Iorganise a Club liveaboard trip in the red Sea every year. I also work for part of the year with Island Divers in Tenerife.

Treasurer - John Williams

John is a Dive Leader

Started diving with Trident in1992. Dive leader since 1998. Treasurer for the last 3 years. My favourite dive sites are the Red Sea (which I have dived many times on the club's annual liveaboard trip organised by Mike Tuck - Thanks Mike!), the Pembrokshire Coastline , Gozo (in Malta), the Algarve, Rathlin Island (off Northern Ireland), then anywhere else where there is deep water! I have also done traditional hard hat diving with a Six Bolt Siebe Gorman Standard Diving Dress with 175lbs of lead! - now that is an experience well worth trying - very different to Scuba.
